Friday Inspirations – The Invisible Man

I had intended to do this Friday Inspirations last week, but as I already explained, I wasn’t able to.

Liu Bolin - can you find him?
Liu Bolin – can you find him?

Liu Bolin is an artist who – with the help of an apprentice or two – becomes invisible in his environment. This article, which is how I originally found out about him, shows a number of his ‘pieces’ – and YouTube has kindly yielded a video of the process.

I can’t really describe how excited I am about his art. It reminds me a lot of the song that JS and I have had stuck in our heads all week, since we watched a recent episode of Glee.

If you could do any arty thing to your body, what would it be? I have a cop-out a bit, at tattoos, of which I already have three — but I’m always planning more, and think my next might be either a ball of yarn, a map of Africa or a music note on my ear…if I ever get another one, which is doubtful!

Much love,

Corrie xx
