Plutonium Muffins “Grace” Stitch Markers

I’ve updated the shop with some stitch-markers, which you can now buy on Etsy! They were made from a stash of beads that belonged to Grace, which were given to me. They’ve been hanging around in my bead-stash for years, and I’ve made all the jewellery I want to from it. I feel like this is a good cause — proceeds from the sale of the stitch-markers will go towards the running costs of this website, as it’s rather expensive.

Three colours are currently available.

Plutonium Muffins “Grace” Stitch Markers – Green

Green is the colour I associate with Plutonium Muffins, which is why the logo is green! These beads are beautiful, particularly the goldy-green ones. The green stitch markers would fit 15 mm needles, but can be reduced in size if needed.

Plutonium Muffins “Grace” Stitch Markers – Blue

The blue beads in these stitch markers are those remaining from the jewellery I have made myself. Made of clear blue glass with gold embellishments, the beads are what Grace used most often. The blue stitch markers would also fit 15 mm needles, but can be reduced in size if needed.

Plutonium Muffins “Grace” Stitch Markers – Orange

These orange beads in these stitch markers are glass, and appeal to me so much because the colour almost exactly matches that of plutonium in the furnace. It feels like a cheerful, warm colour, and fits the “embrace life” motto. The orange stitch markers would also fit 15 mm needles, but can be reduced in size if needed.

More of these will be appearing in the future – I won’t use up my whole Grace stash, as it is precious to me, but this felt like a good cause.

What colours would you associate with Plutonium Muffins?

Much love,

Corrie xx
